Installation of a brand new headworks building for an existing sewage treatment facility. Project includes heavy dewatering, driven sheet pile support of excavation 66.5’x54′ with interior bracing for the excavation of the 28′ deep cast-in-place concrete structure. Project consists of over 500CY of cast-in-place concrete for the new headworks structure and concrete channels. Interior process equipment consisted of new mechanical bar screen, raw influent pumps, grit pumps, and grit classifiers. Additional work including full bypass of all plant flows for installation of new influent doghouse manhole and new yard piping directing influent flow to the new headworks. Architectural work includes the brand new CMU building, precast roof system, structural steel and misc. metals, coatings and other fit and finish work.
